Season Dates

Start: February 5, 2023
End: June 10, 2023

US Lacrosse membership is a requirement for the registration process. Your USA Lacrosse membership provides the required insurance for the players during the season and is a requirement for tournament play. If you do not currently have a USA Lacrosse membership, the registration process will direct you to the USA Lacrosse website to purchase one. The USA Lacrosse membership is $30/player. That cost is in addition to the registration fees for CD East Jr Lacrosse.

Registration Fees
Registration Fees vary by age group – see below. Discounts are available for two or more players from the same family. Fees are kept as low as possible in an effort to maximize participation.

Note: Participants can play for CD East Jr even if they do not live in the Central Dauphin school district as long as their school district does not have a youth program.

First-year players are free!

First-year players will need to pay the registration fee upfront, but the registration fee will be reimbursed as soon as all loaner equipment are returned. For example:

If they have their own equipment from the beginning, the registration fee will be reimbursed right away.
If they buy their own equipment during the season, the fee will be reimbursed at that time.
When they return their equipment at the year-end party, the fee will be reimbursed then.

First-year players still need to pay for a USA Lacrosse membership and participate in the fundraiser.

There is a mandatory fundraiser during the season. Participation is required in order to receive a uniform. Uniforms are provided to the players for the season "on loan" and a refundable deposit is required.

CD East Jr Lacrosse 8U Registration - Spring 2023

The 8U program is for boys in K - 2nd grades. There is no body equipment at this age, so there is no stick checking or body checking. The club will provide mini lacrosse sticks and soft lacrosse balls. There will be 2 practices per week for 1 hour on weeknights. Practices will be fun drills, games, and scrimmages. It will be intra-squad scrimmages and possible play, so they may play other clubs in the MPYLA league. Scrimmages will be 3v3 or 4v4 on a short field, with no offsides and no goalies.

CD East Jr Lacrosse 10U Registration - Spring 2023

The 10U program is for boys in 3rd - 4th grades. It is the first year with equipment but there is no body checking. The club can provide loaner equipment if needed. There will be 2 - 3 practices per week for about 1.25 - 1.5 hours on weeknights, and 2 games on Saturday mornings most weekends. They will play other clubs in the MPYLA league & there will be a year-end Mid-Penn Tournament. Games will be 7v7 on a short field, with offsides & goalies.

CD East Jr Lacrosse 12U Registration - Spring 2023

The 12U program is for boys in 5th - 6th grades. The club can provide loaner equipment if needed. There will be 2-3 practices per week for about 1.5 hours on weeknights, and 2 games on Saturday mornings most weekends. They will play other clubs in the MPYLA league and there will be a year-end Mid-Penn Tournament. Games will be 10v10 on a full-size field with limited body checking.

The 14U program is for boys in 7th - 8th grades. The club can provide loaner equipment if needed. There will be 3 -4 practices per week for about 1.5 hours on weeknights and 2 games on Saturday mornings. They will play other clubs in the MPYLA league and there will be a year-end Mid-Penn Tournament. Games will be 10v10 on a full-size field.
